The purpose behind Festival of India is to create a cultural awareness of India and its people to the Baltimore community. We use Festival of India to introduce the vast cuisine, costumes, sounds and dances of everyday India. To help educate the community of India’s beauty, Festival of India will have cultural dances along with music performances representing the different regions of India. There will also be various food, clothing, arts, crafts, and musical instruments on display. This festival has become one of the premier events to occur in Baltimore Inner Harbor with over 5000+ people attending every year.
