About

The past decade has witnessed the Festival of India blossom into one of Maryland’s most dazzling, head-turning summer events. We are excited to announce that this year’s festival – the 18th Annual Chariot Festival (also known as Ratha-Yatra) & Festival of India will be taking place on Saturday May 25th 2024.

The event will begin with a euphoric parade down famous Key Highway (beginning at Federal Hill – opposite Rash Field ). The celebrations then will continue to McKeldin Square Fountain(Corner of Pratt & Light Street) from 2 pm to 6pm with festivities expected to draw close to 10,000 people.

The festival is open to the public and free for everyone. Bring your family and friends and join us !
